About Us

Dr. Pankaj Kheterpal is a Board Certified Internist practicing in the Essex area since 2003. He received his medical degree from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College in India. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in New York. Dr. Kheterpal is affiliated with Medstar Franklin Square Hospital Center and has admitting privileges there.

With over a decade of experience in providing Geriatric care at various long term care facilities, he also provides services at Genesis Franklin Woods Center.

Dr Kheterpal is a member of InterMedIPA, an independent Physician owned enterprise, committed towards providing value based care to all patients.

Dr. Jorge Acevedo-Vila is a board-certified physician specializing in general internal medicine and primary care. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and has over 30 years of experience in the field.

Dr. Acevedo is fully bilingual Spanish / English

Dr. Noblin Ogbonna, a licensed podiatrist in Maryland, has two years of experience in geriatric care at long-term facilities and home visits.

She graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her three-year residency at The Department of Veterans Affairs in New York, specializing in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with a credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Ogbonna is a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association.

Her commitment lies in saving one foot at a time.

Cristina is originally from Puerto Rico and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Trinity University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Washington Hospital Center, one of the busiest emergency departments in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. She later transitioned to the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), where she provided care to both adult and pediatric patients.

While pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Cristina served as a clinical instructor at both the University of Maryland School of Nursing and the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2019.

Cristina is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and empowering patients through education about their health conditions. She specializes in helping patients manage chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity, among others. She has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for six years and is committed to helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Cristina is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is currently accepting new patients.

Bianca Nieves, DNP, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan. As a proud Latina provider, she is passionate about advocating for minorities and improving access to quality healthcare within underserved communities. Her clinical interests include preventive care and patient education, with a focus on helping patients take an active role in their health and wellness.

Bianca began her healthcare career at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in 2018 as a student nurse extern before advancing to patient care technician and later becoming a registered nurse on a medical-surgical unit after graduation. While completing her doctoral studies, she continued working bedside and currently remains at Bayview as a PRN nurse.

Bianca is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Outside of work, Bianca enjoys trying new coffee shops, running/working out, spending time with family and friends, and growing in her faith.
